Good reasons to build
- Your process is the product (logistics, clinics, education ops)
- Staff are copying data between three tools daily
- Reporting is always late because nothing is connected
- Compliance or data ownership rules out generic SaaS
Bad reasons to build
“We want an app because competitors have one” without a clear user problem. Or rebuilding something Notion, Shopify, or Zoho already does well enough.
