Using AI in your business without the hype
Most businesses don't need a custom model. They need one or two boring, reliable automations that save real hours every week.

AI is having a moment, and a lot of the advice around it is either breathless or scary. In practice, the wins for most small and mid-sized businesses are pretty modest — and that's a good thing.
Start with the annoying, repetitive task
The best first project is usually something dull: sorting incoming emails, drafting first-pass replies to common questions, pulling data out of invoices, or summarising long documents. These are low-risk, easy to measure, and free up hours.
Keep a human in the loop
For anything customer-facing, AI should draft and a person should approve — at least until you trust it. This catches the occasional confident-but-wrong answer before it reaches a customer.
Measure before you scale
- Pick one task and track how long it takes today
- Automate it and compare, honestly, including the time spent fixing mistakes
- Only expand once the numbers actually improve
We build AI features the same way we build everything else: start small, prove it works, and grow from there. If a chatbot or automation won't clearly save you time or money, we'll tell you to skip it.
